Who is responsible

Which law applies
Both the EU General Data Protection Regulation and the UAE Personal Data Protection Law apply. The GDPR applies because Mannaert Stoffen B.V. is a Dutch entity. The PDPL applies because Era Of You operates and holds its events in Dubai. Where the two differ, this notice will follow whichever gives you the stronger protection.
What is stored about members
Name, email, phone, company, role, city and country, Instagram and LinkedIn handles, membership tier and status, start and renewal dates, who referred you, how you found us, your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, whether the course has been granted, whether you have consented to appear publicly, whether you mentor, and internal notes.
What is stored about applicants
The tier applied for, your contact details, what you are building, who referred you, how you found us, and the status of the application.
Who processes it
Supabase stores the database and sends the sign-in links you use to log in. Stripe processes payments and holds the payment records. WhatsApp carries messages to and from members and the free Era Of You WhatsApp community. Vercel hosts the site and measures how it performs. Kajabi hosts the course. Any provider that sends marketing email is named here before the first message is sent.
Marketing email
Marketing email is sent only to people who have given recorded consent, and never more than once a week. It is separate from transactional email — receipts, renewal notices and replies to something you sent us — which you get because you are a member, not because you opted in.
Your choices
Appearing on the public members wall is opt-in and off by default. Marketing email can be stopped at any time. To see, correct or delete what is held about you, email info@era-ofyou.com.
